The smallest infrared LEDs with more than one watt of optical power. Integrated lens allows superior compact arrangements of very high power density.

The OSRAM Dragon family of infrared emitter is a world leader, offering stellar performance in a small package, a long service life, and high power in continuous driving mode thanks to its excellent thermal design.

The IR OSLUX® SFH 4780S, the first infrared emitter from Osram Opto Semiconductors with a wavelength of 810 nanometers (nm). With a height of only 2.4 mm this LED is setting new standards, achieving record radiant intensity values with a narrow emission angle from very small dimensions.

At the heart of each SYNIOS® PowerStar is the SYNIOS® P2720 from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors. Given the scalability of this product family, it provides full performance and flexibility with just one footprint. The SYNIOS® P2720 is meant to provide superior light quality in 1mm² chip size class.

Broadband emitters

At the heart of each PowerStar is an LED from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors, which emits broadband infrared light in wavelengths ranging from 650 to 1,050 nanometres (nm). It is ideal for near-infrared spectroscopy, which can be used to assess food, medicine and even measure body fat.

OSLON® P1616

At the heart of each Micro OSLON® IR is an OSLON® P1616 IR LED from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors, which is
today’s smallest infrared LED. This small package with its integrated lens allows for superior compact arrangements of
very high-power density.
