But LED technology is evolving rapidly, and this has ongoing implications on your products, principally in terms of quality of light and luminous efficiency. Because of that, ILS will review any design we have done with you as time passes and inform you of the enhancements that can be achieved. These reviews can for example mean cost downs as LED efficiencies increase, improved performance as brighter LED sources become available and, driven by enhanced colour temperature and rendering, introduced improved light quality.
LEDs can be used successfully, if we employ good design practise, to replace traditional light sources; but they have features and properties that permit innovative designs that can deliver superb light engines for your products.
