About ILS
Intelligent LED Solutions (ILS) was formed in response to demands from customers and suppliers to provide products and a specialist service to the fast-growing LED sector. We operate principally in the UK and Ireland but supply globally providing LED based solutions in lighting and other applications.
ILS offers a high level of technical skill, professionalism and commercial understanding to companies requiring market leading optoelectronics solutions. Offering conceptual advice, electronics design and manufacturing capability, we use high quality production resources both in house and in Asia, providing project support from prototyping to mass production. We also understand the need to provide cost effective solutions and we do so using high quality components to ensure that the end product’s reliability and quality is uncompromised. Apart from LEDs in the visible spectrum, we have a wide range of Infrared (810-940nm), UV LEDs, UV tubes, and Lasers.
ILS is a franchised stocking distributor and agent for OSRAM Opto Semiconductors, OSRAM LED Systems, LEDiL, Stanley, TSLC, and Showin. In addition we work closely with other LED manufacturers, Microchip for specialist Driver Solutions, Tyco for interconnect, and a number of other companies to enable us to provide power and driver solutions.
Intelligent LED Solutions has introduced its own range of products including LED Strips, LED Coins, LED PowerStars, LED Flood Boards, and LED Flexible Strips, which can be incorporated into your custom housing to complement the your design. This range is increasing on a monthly basis and our standard products can be easily adapted or customised to meet your needs. We also offer an ever expanding range of accessories including LED Drivers, Heatsinks, Lenses and Thermal Interface Material as well as Development Kits and Starter Kits.
A new division Intelligent Horticultural Solutions (IHS) has just been launched focusing on providing LED solutions to the rapidly evolving and highly important horticultural lighting market.
ILS has a well-equipped facility and R+D centre in Thatcham near Newbury in Berkshire. This includes Offices, warehouses, a manufacturing facility, and workshop. Additionally, the well-equipped photonics and electronics lab has a 50cm integrating sphere generates immediate measurements of luminous flux, colour temperature, luminous efficacy and many other important light characteristics, and hand held lux metre, FLIR ONE thermal camera and laser cutter for polycarbonates. We operate a bespoke computer system and have a Quality system that is BS-EN-ISO-9001:2015 accredited.
ILS is a division of Intelligent Group Solutions Ltd (IGS) a well-established respected industry leading Optoelectronics solutions provider. Much of IGS’ business comes from providing semi-custom or custom products both in component and sub-assembly form. This comes from providing design support and prototyping within the European market place. With the capability to deliver production displays to wherever in the world that the customer’s manufacturing or assembly is being undertaken.
IGS is a privately owned company and the owners are fully involved in the running of the business. All the senior staff have been involved with the Optoelectronics industry for at least 25 years and are dedicated to ensuring that ILS is an innovative and highly successful operation.
